I have specified a picture....but when loggin in I diont see it there is just a blank picture frame

any ideas

Solution
Can you try to set a different picture, and reboot after you set it:

1. One of the standard windows pics
2. A custom .jpg that you made

What are the results?

When you press CTL+ALT+DEL at the logon screen, you should see it there too, as well as the Start menu.
