All of a sudden my Search (Windows[key] F) does not work at all, not eben to open a search window! Any idea of how to restore functionality?

Solution
Hi,
look in the Start menu for command prompt, right click and run as admin. Type:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and await results.

Also have you installed anything new recently?
