📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses how to create an unallocated partition on a Windows 10 system, with the original poster struggling as options are greyed out when attempting to delete or modify a specific partition. Several users suggest solutions such as using third-party partition management tools or deleting less important partitions, noting that the disk is set up with an MBR partition scheme, which imposes certain limitations. Ultimately, the consensus highlights that the partition's current state is due to design limitations of MBR disks, and users recommend cautious approaches like deleting small partitions to utilize unallocated space effectively.

How do I create an HDD-Unallocated-Partition in Windows 10 from HDD-Free-Space on my drive?
Please look at the screenshot below to better understand the issue.

(All the option is greyed-out on Right-click, and delete-option is not there.)

Click the unallocated space and click Create Partition from Partition Management in the left pane. Or choose Create from the context menu. Step 2: Specify the partition size, location, file system, drive letter and more. Click OK to go back to the main interface

You won't be about to in your current config. Your disk is set up as an MBR so you can only have 4 primary partitions or in your case 3 primary and an extended with logical partitions. It is possible to install Linux on logical partitions, but I don't recall if the installer with do it automatically.
