I am attempting to network 2 Win 7 computers and while I see both computers on both network maps I cannot connect with either, when I try in LOCAL AREA CONNECTION STATUS I see that IPv6 has no network access.

Is there any step by step instructions on how to create a network with full sharing capabilities?

Do you have some reason for using IPv6? There is currently little need for it and most people have it disabled in the network properties,

No, there is no treason but I got a message that it was disabled and that was why I could not create a network. I just want to share files and a printer between 2 win 7 computers, what must I do.
