This week my windows got updated .the next morning when i opened my laptop i found that the mobile hotspot shortcut in taskbar is not working,went to 'settings' and click mobile hotspot it just hanged for 10 minutes,when i clicked the share my internet box it hanged for ever i had to restart .Now im using connectify free version which disconnects after every 30 minutes.Any help is appreciated

What build are you on?

I would also start out by running sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt
