AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.7.1 is now available for Radeon PCs, adding day-one support for the new Radeon RX 9050 and game profiles for Gears of War: E-Day Open Beta Early Access and Out of Control Evolution. AMD’s release notes, also highlighted by Overclock3D, confirm the package supports both Windows 11 and Windows 10 64-bit version 21H2 or later—not Windows 11 alone.
For existing Radeon owners, the more practical reason to update is a concentrated set of fixes for Radeon RX 7000-series and newer hardware. AMD says the release resolves model-flickering and rendering failures in Maxon Cinema 4D and Blender, as well as intermittent Blender crashes on some systems. It also fixes a missing directional-indicator icon in Fortnite.

The driver addresses intermittent crashes in games using AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 on Windows 10 with Radeon RX 7000-series GPUs. AMD also says it corrected an issue where Adrenalin could report FSR Upscaling and FSR Frame Generation as inactive in Battlefield 6 on Radeon RX 9000-series cards even when those features were enabled.
AMD packages two Windows driver versions under the 26.7.1 release label: version 26.10.35.01, with Windows Driver Store version 32.0.31035.1003, and version 25.10.45.01, with Store version 32.0.21045.1000. That distinction can matter when checking the installed driver in Device Manager rather than relying only on the Adrenalin version number.
The supported desktop lineup covers Radeon RX 5700 series through RX 9050 series, plus several Radeon PRO cards. Older, pre-RDNA Radeon GPUs are not supported by this release.

Known Issues Still Matter Before a Fleet-Wide Rollout

AMD lists several unresolved problems, including possible crashes or driver timeouts in Battlefield 6 on systems using a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. Texture flickering or corruption can also occur in that game when AMD Record and Stream is active on some Radeon products.
Administrators and power users should also note two installation-related caveats:
  • AMD Smart Access Memory can become disabled after installing the driver on Windows 10 systems, so its status is worth checking after the reboot.
  • AI Bundle component installation can fail in regions where access to Hugging Face or GitHub is limited.
For most RX 7000-series owners affected by Blender, Cinema 4D, Fortnite, or FSR 4.1 instability, 26.7.1 is a targeted update worth testing. For managed PCs and Battlefield 6 players using the affected Ryzen AI platform, the remaining known issues make a staged deployment the safer course.
