Windows 7 Adjusting numbered indents

Hi thereI frequently use numbered indents but have to adjust the indent each time in a new document by right clicking against the number, adjusting the indent, and then clicking OK.How can I fix the indent to a required distance so that it is the same for every new document without having to adjust each time. In XP this was a simple exercise - but I have yet to find it in 7 - I am missing something.Help will be very much appreciated.Regards, MichaelB

Which program are you referring to? If it is Ms office, maybe you should post in the software section?
