Can some one tell me what this Apple Inc. - Bonjour thing is and what it does? I've done some googling but no real explanation as to what it really is.

Solution
There's a special process to get rid of it because files are locked and you have to remove it from being a service too.

This is the procedure you'll want to follow:

Link Removed

If you are using x64, then substitute Program Files (x86) instead of how it shows the Program Files folder. You'll see what I mean...

It's Apple's effective design to cripple Windows networking.

lol

I'm kidding but it does really harm networking to where users end up without internet access. It's some kind of dns locater that doesn't work right in many situations. It's present and needs to be removed in so many instances where networking is causing problems.

It's commonly installed with iTunes etc...

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonjour_(software)

So can I delete it and if so what if any harm or problems may occur if I do? I did download iTunes awhile back when I had the iPod Nano, now it's the wifes toy. So is that where I most likely got it form?
