Hi Peter,
which anti-virus suite do you use? If it's either Bitdefender or Norton it may help if you uninstalled the AV. See this link:

How ya doin? I think you are probably right about having to remove Norton 365. I tried some tips but not got anywhere yet.

I'm good thanks Peter.. 🙂 I guess you could always re-install Norton if it didn't prove to be the issue. Use the removal tool to get rid of Norton:

Hi, maybe you could use another software like AOMEI Backupper to restore system. With this freeware, things may go easier. and maybe you can restore Windows 10 system image backup successfully.
