📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses the "Forced Hardware" section in Windows' Hardware Resources tab, with the original poster questioning its purpose and whether their laptop functions normally without anything listed there. A reply explains that "Forced Hardware" refers to manually assigned system resources for hardware components, which are typically unnecessary for modern hardware, thus why the section is often empty. Overall, the conversation clarifies that an empty "Forced Hardware" section is normal and usually not a concern.

Hi,
Forced Hardware is hardware that has resources (Interupts, addresses, etc) assigned to it manually (forced to use those resources)
rather than letting the operating system assign them automatically. Most modern hardware does not require manually assigning these resources and that is why you don't see any listed.
