Hi

Can we download the windows 7 32 bit for free for testing purposes? I had one like ten years ago however I don't remember how long it lasted for. I had it for a decent amount of time though as I remember playing farcry on it.

There are test VM images you can download from the Microsoft developer site, but they are only valid for 90 days. Windows 7 is not available since it's out of support. If you really need Windows 7 I would suggest buying a license from a third party retailer . They should be very reasonably priced

Nice advice @Neemobeer. Creating a virtual machine with windows 7 can run a program dedicated for Windows 7. Nevertheless @anotherwindowsuser have you tried compatibility mode?

My brother told me last year win8 was so unpopular they made the win 7 support longer, not sure about true dates to be honest.
