None of the installers are "fake" as I got them from official sources. The specific installers I am trying to run are "dotNetFx35setup" and "vcredist_x86" from the official websites. The "windows installer" pops up to prepare the installation, but nothing opens after it closes.

Hmm. Apparently the file scans didn't find anything unordinary, and the issues with the updates seemed to have fixed itself.As for the other issues, for the most part, have seemed to disapeared. However my resolution problems still consists, but as of now I don't really mind the problems anymore.

THIS is what I believe I saw before. But I could not remove the entry for mirillis.com because upon SAVE (not save-as), it prompts as if i was saving-as. However It says I don't have administrator access even though I am. No other users are even registered on my pc either.
