Edge as Default App to Open a File?

Yeah, I just found that location in ussnorway's earlier post. And I can change the default program for the swf file to Edge. But Edge won't open the file. Doesn't make sense since Edge can open the file if I specify the path to the file in the edge url window. Regards, Jim

Edge as Default App to Open a File?

If I type "file:///C:/Games/name.swf" in the Edge url address line, the "name.swf" file opens in an Edge window. It doesn't matter to me if shockwave player is involved. If I double click on the "name.swf" shortcut on the desktop, the swf file opens in an IE window. I just want to change the...

    {Solved}Microsoft Edge Issues

I don't know if this is the right place for this post, but this forum always seems to have the answer. I decided to try Edge, moving from IE. One very annoying issue. On some websites, pop up ads appear and in some cases the browser goes to the ad page. I have ad pop up blocker on, but they...

[Solved] NAS not Recognized by Windows Explorer

When I start Windows Explorer, the NAS doesn't show up anywhere. Then if I click on Network in the left window, the NAS shows in the right window as a network device. But, all it will do is take me to the NAS' page, no access to the HDs in the NAS. Jim
