Since you mention about the AV uninstallers i thought i would ask this question. I had been running McAfee AV when i first installed Win 7 then about 2 months ago i uninstalled McAfee and went back to Avast! AV but did not know to use the uninstaller tool. Could this be a cause to my problem...
