Not really! I have found that when I copy a file to the same drive it does not auto refresh (ie sort by whatever) BUT if you say copy from your C drive to an external drive, it does Auto Refresh. I suspect this is a bug in Windows 7 - as in Vista this did not happen. Best regards Steven

Hi I've been testing Windows Search and selected my external drive for indexing in 'Indexing Options', but none of the mp3's/jpg's on the drive have been found (although there are many thousand). Windows Search has found all my Outlook emails and finds all the mp3's from searching within...

I have found that once I return from hibernation, initially Firefox states it is not responding (maybe for 10 seconds), then returns to normal. Hope this helps? Steven

Thanks for your reply....if you have to turn off Action Center then I presume it must be in error reporting it is switched off, but I'll change it as you have indicated, just to get rid of the nagging! Steven

Thanks for the reply - however....I have already asked Security Center to ignore my Anti Virus software. It has said that it is 'not being monitored', but I'm baffled why the Security Center is being switched off on a reboot. (I have UAC on one notch above the bottom) Best Regards Steven
