Autohide problems
I recently found the tip that stopping explorer in task manager and then restarting it autohide would function.
And it did. And each time I reboot it stops working.
I repeat the process and it works again. I reboot and it stops working.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Thad
Changing the position of the taskbar makes no difference.
Autohide works excellently in safe mode.
After reboot same problem recurs.
Thanks for the help.
The auto hide function of the taskbar stopped working several days ago. I notice when searching that this has been a problem back even to the XP days. Any suggestions. I have already tried deleting the prefetch directory with no success.
Thanks

IE 8 Crash
I have tried both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of IE 8. With both I get random crashes in the form of a freeze. No error messages. This requires a reboot. Otherwise W7 is working unbelievably well.
Any ideas? My system is below.
OS – Windows 7 RC build 7100

64 bit ISO
You are correct. I did indeed load the 64-bit ISO but I do have both the 32 and 64-bit IE 8 available.
If I use the 64-bit, no flash player.
If I use the 32-bit, I have a flash player. Just like Adobe says. Hopefully they will catch up soon.
thanks for all your help
Thanks
Thanks for the helpAt some point during installation I was offered the opportunity to activate the 64-bit version.
This then became my default.
At your suggestion I searched and found the 32-bit which of course avoids the Flash Player problem.
Thanks for the tip
Thanks but
Thanks but no luckAdobe states that they do not have a Flash Player for 64-bit browsers.
They say they are "working on it" and hopefully it will be ready for the next edition of Flast Player.
I was hoping someone knew a way to backtrack from IE 8 64 bit to IE 8 32 bit.
Thanks
After installing Internet Explorer 8 64-bit version I discovered that Adobe does not have a Flash Player compatible with a 64-bit browser. Any ideas on how I revert to the 32-bit version? Of course it does seem as if Adobe should have been prepared.
Thanks
