I am thinking about upgrading to new solid state hard drive and would like to migrate my operating system to the new drive without going through all of the hassle of re-installing all of my operating system and data. Can anyone help with this? Walter

Registry Did you make a Windows 7 repair disk when you installed Windows 7? You should be able to repair the registry with this disk. You may be able to still make the disk from your installation disk.

HP Printer I installed my J6480 multifunction printer with the install cd that came with the printer. Use the Vista compatibility function and mine worked fine, all functions. Mine also said Windows 7 not supported, but I changed it run Vista compatibility.

Ext drive I did this: Go: control panel administrative tools computer management disk management scroll down the list of drives and your drive should be there. May need to be formated

Roxio I have Roxio 9 installed and it works perfectly. I have been using Roxio for 4 years and never had a problem with it. I make movies , edit and burn, works better than any other program I have tried. Can't recall having any DVD's I burned that had a problem.

printer click on start click on devices and printers click on add printers click on USB, if your printer is USB read the list of printers that is listed if your printer is not listed click on update printers this should refresh the list and your printer should be listed now install printer

HP Printer You can manually install your printer from the list of drivers for HP in Windows 7. Just go to Windows update and update your drivers from MS website. The hp 1300 series is on there list. I believe the mulifunction printers use DOT ports. Just go to Add Printer and download new drivers.
