Ya I know that I have to download the 64-Bit from MS. My question was actually if I can use the Upgrade funktion in the installation. So that all my programmes, data, and settings will be kept.

Well actually the RC is working perfectly on my PC exept for the Devices&Printers Manager. I'll just search around for solutions because I really don't want to go back to Vista!!! Regards, UBF

Took a while until the setup started... I had to wait about 5 minutes until the screen came to choose language etc. and then another 5 minutes until i could choose weather to do an upgrade oder custon installation... But then evrythign went smooth and now I am very happy with Win7! Regards, UBF

This must be from something else... On my Laptop the Manager works perfectly with Service Pack 2 for Office installed! Does anybody know something? I really need to get into the Manager! Regards, UBF

Wasn't it somehow possible to go to "Installed Updates" and select Windows 7 and de-install it? And then Windows Vista would be back? Or was that only in the Beta or was that even possible at all...? Regards, UBF

Well I thought of doing that. It's just that I don't really know how many Programms are lost from the menu. All I know is that they're not less... So is there maybe something how I can "reset" the start menu or would I have to re-install Win7 (isn't bad if I have to)?

No... It's not that! In the All Programms menu there r like entries missing! Like Windows Update. And to open it I always have to use the start menu search funktion...

I recently installed Windows 7 on a test computer and it works really perfect. I have almost no problems with it. Just one thing that really annoys me is that somehow suddenly some entries in my start menu disppeared like Windows Update. So I would like really want to have them back! Can someone...

Aah... I just got an update for the card via Windows Update. Now Aero works... Wohhooo... :D

Well... *cough*... It's 1,0 for Aero and gaming... But still... Aero should work fine... Like I said: it works perfectly on Vista...

Well ok... Actually not a bad idea with the registry... But I don't like doing things in the registry... There must be a command for the command promt or something like that... or?

Of course it can be activated somehow... Problem is just how... Someone know a program or a code for the activation of Aero???

I have the same problem: my testing computer has a 128 MB graphics card and on vista Aero went on extremely well with maximum funktions but I just can't get Aero switched on in Win7. I click on the Aero theme and it saves my setting but nothing happens. Just the old Windows Basic. But when I go...

Nothing mentioned from Microsoft... Dunno... I guess because there was too much interest and later MS will get all the bad comments because the rest from the 2.5 million wouldn't have got the beta...
