What launched and when
ASUS Philippines announced the local launch of the Zenbook 14 (UX3480), with prices starting at PHP 76,995. The lineup uses ASUS's Ceraluminum material and Copilot+ PC certified processors across Intel, AMD and Snapdragon platforms. Sales began October 7. Intel and AMD models come in Arctic Blue and the Snapdragon model in Komodo Coral. A Snapdragon model in Zabriskie Beige follows later in Q4 2026. Per the Gadget Pilipinas report, all configurations are sold through official ASUS Exclusive Stores nationwide.
This is a different launch from the one ASUS announced at Computex on June 1, 2026. That announcement used model labels UX3480AA / UX3480GA / UX3408QA. The Philippine lineup uses UX3480AA for Intel, UX3480KA for AMD and UX3480QA for Snapdragon. Treat the Philippine SKU names as the ones that apply locally.
Philippine configurations and prices
According to Gadget Pilipinas, every SKU has 512GB of storage and a 14-inch WUXGA OLED panel. The prices are introductory:
| SKU | Processor / RAM | Color | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| UX3480AA-U2489WSM | Core Ultra 9 386H / 24GB, touch | Arctic Blue | ₱129,995 |
| UX3480AA-U2477WSM | Core Ultra 7 355 / 16GB, touch | Arctic Blue | ₱106,995 |
| UX3480KA-U1137WSM | Ryzen AI 7 345 / 16GB | Arctic Blue | ₱94,995 |
| UX3480KA-U1135WSM | Ryzen AI 5 330 / 16GB | Arctic Blue | ₱86,995 |
| UX3480QA-U1004WSM | Snapdragon X X1 26 100 / 16GB | Komodo Coral | ₱76,995 |
| UX3480QA-U1204WSM | Snapdragon X X1 26 100 / 16GB | Zabriskie Beige (Q4 2026) | ₱76,995 |
- The spread between the cheapest and most expensive SKU is ₱53,000.
- The Intel models are listed as touchscreens. The AMD and Snapdragon listings do not mention touch. REVU says touch is an Intel-variant feature. ASUS's Philippine spec page for the Snapdragon model lists a non-touch screen.
- REVU gives approximate dollar conversions, with ₱76,995 at about $1,225. Those are REVU's conversions and will move with exchange rates.
Design and hardware
Both reports say the lid is Ceraluminum, which ASUS describes as a ceramic-aluminum composite. Gadget Pilipinas says it resists scratches and wear while feeling like ceramic. REVU adds that it is made through an electrochemical treatment of aluminum. It also says the chassis is 1.3cm thin. The laptop weighs as little as 1.1kg. These are ASUS's claims, not independent durability tests.
Other listed features:
- A 16:10 OLED panel with up to an 89% screen-to-body ratio.
- Dolby Atmos-tuned dual speakers.
- A backlit keyboard and a larger smart-gesture touchpad.
- USB-C, USB Type-A, HDMI and a 3.5mm combo jack. Neither report gives port counts or USB speeds.
- Windows 11 Home, per REVU's spec lists.
Three platforms, three NPU tiers
Gadget Pilipinas says every variant is a Copilot+ PC. The NPU ratings are:
- Intel: up to 50 TOPS
- AMD: 50 TOPS
- Snapdragon: 45 TOPS
The Intel and AMD processor names are upper limits for the platform. The actual Philippine SKUs include lower-tier Core Ultra 7 and Ryzen AI 5 chips. Don't assume every SKU reaches the headline figure. All three clear Microsoft's Copilot+ bar, so the 45 versus 50 TOPS gap matters less than the architecture choice. Snapdragon is Arm-based, with the compatibility questions that brings. Intel and AMD run x86 software natively. REVU frames the Snapdragon model as the battery-life option.
Battery and thermals: read the fine print
The Philippine coverage quotes up to 33 hours of battery life. The reports give no test conditions. REVU says it applies to "specific power-efficient workloads". The June Computex release said up to 21+ hours, based on ASUS internal 1080p video-playback simulations. ASUS's Philippine Snapdragon page also says 21 hours. Treat 33 hours as a best-case marketing figure, and don't compare it directly to the 21+ hour number.
The cooling module has a larger fan and refined airflow, which ASUS says raises total TDP to up to 35W. ASUS calls that 25% higher than the previous generation. Neither report names the baseline model. Notebookcheck has reviewed the UX3480 Snapdragon model abroad. Its US pricing was $799 for 8GB/256GB and $999 for 16GB/512GB, and it called the laptop a good all-rounder. That is a different market, configuration and price, so it says nothing about the Philippine SKUs. I found no independent Philippine testing.
Bundle and accessory
Gadget Pilipinas says each purchase includes:
- The ASUS No. 1 Quality and Service Package and a protective sleeve.
- A lifetime license for Office 2024 Home.
- A one-year Microsoft 365 Basic subscription with 100GB of cloud storage.
- Up to 700GB of ASUS Cloud Storage.
- A three-month Google AI Pro trial.
The Office 2024 license is perpetual. The Microsoft 365 Basic subscription runs one year. Neither report gives terms or eligibility details, so confirm them at purchase.
The ZenMouse MD202 is sold separately for ₱4,995 starting mid-October at ASUS Exclusive Stores. It has a Ceraluminum top cover and comes in Moher Gray and Scandinavian White. It pairs with up to four devices over Bluetooth or 2.4GHz. Sensitivity runs from 800 to 4,200 DPI through MyASUS. ASUS claims up to seven months of battery life, and up to 16 hours from a one-minute USB-C charge.
Which one fits whom
- Snapdragon, ₱76,995: the cheapest and the longest-battery pitch. Check that your key apps run well on Windows on Arm.
- AMD, ₱86,995 or ₱94,995: x86 compatibility at a mid price, without touch.
- Intel, ₱106,995 or ₱129,995: the only models with touch and, at the top, 24GB of RAM. They also cost the most.
Note that the standard 16GB across most SKUs is a plus, but 512GB of storage is modest at these prices. Compare against current local pricing on competing Copilot+ ultraportables before buying.
