Baseus’s Spacemate RD1 Mini has appeared on Amazon, bringing a status display, dual-4K monitor support and extra USB-C connectivity to a compact desktop dock. Notebookcheck reports that it is not yet orderable; a shipping date remains unconfirmed.

A sleek docking station connects a laptop to dual monitors on a tidy desk. What the RD1 Mini offers

Notebookcheck describes this 10-in-1 dock with an integrated USB-C host cable and the following connections:

  • Front: two 10Gbps USB-C data ports and a separate 30W USB-C charging port.
  • Rear: three 5Gbps USB-A ports, two HDMI outputs supporting dual 4K at 60Hz, Gigabit Ethernet and a 120W DC input.

It reportedly measures 4.43 × 2.83 × 1.61 inches, lacks card readers and DisplayPort, and supports up to 100W laptop charging. Notebookcheck’s image caption also identifies an included 120W GaN charger. Its built-in screen reportedly displays port activity, charging output and connection warnings; a multifunction button controls the display or locks the laptop.

Those power ratings should not be treated as a promise of simultaneous 100W laptop and 30W accessory charging: the evidence available here does not establish the Mini’s power-sharing rules.

Anker’s rival has important qualifications

Anker’s official US page lists the competing Desktop USB-C Hub, model A210C, at $99.99. It includes HDMI, DisplayPort and microSD connectivity, advertises 80W host charging, and does not include a charger. Anker recommends a USB-C power supply rated at least 65W.

The refresh-rate comparison needs more than a headline number. Anker documents dual “2K” displays at up to 240Hz, but specifically requires a host USB-C port supporting DisplayPort 2.1 with DSC 3:1 for that mode. That is a host-dependent capability, not a universal result from plugging in the hub.

Anker also explicitly supports separate external desktops on Windows 10 and Windows 11, while its two external monitors show identical content on macOS. Video output uses HDMI and DisplayPort, not the accessory USB-C ports. These are Anker-specific conditions; they do not establish the Baseus Mini’s compatibility.

What Windows buyers should verify

The useful comparison is therefore USB-C connectivity versus display and removable-media flexibility, rather than an established performance winner.

Before committing to the Mini, obtain confirmation of:

  • Supported host ports and operating systems.
  • Dual-monitor extended desktop operation at the advertised resolution.
  • Charging allocation with a laptop and accessories connected together.
  • Final package contents, selling price and shipping date.

Anker’s documentation illustrates why the first two checks matter: its advertised modes depend on both the host connection and operating system.

Notebookcheck reports Amazon listing-history figures of $109.99 and subsequently $169.99 for the Mini. Neither establishes its eventual selling price. For now, this is a promising PC docking-station listing—not a shipping launch or a tested victory over Anker.
