About this tag
The 4k webcams tag on WindowsForum.com collects discussion of ultra-high-definition webcams used with Windows PCs, including hardware reviews, pricing changes, and feature limitations. A recent thread examines Dell's Pro 7 Webcam 4K (model WB726), a $199.99 Windows Hello camera praised for unusually clear dual beam-forming microphones but criticized for cool color rendering, slow autofocus, and average low-light performance. The discussion also notes that Dell's premium 4K-at-60fps capture mode disables Zoom and field-of-view controls, a practical tradeoff buyers should weigh. Together these posts help Windows users compare 4K webcam capabilities, Windows Hello integration, and real-world video quality before purchasing.

Razer...

Dell Pro 7 4K/60 Disables Zoom and Field-of-View Controls

Dell’s Pro 7 Webcam 4K, model WB726, is a capable Windows Hello camera whose most distinctive practical feature may be its microphone rather than its headline 4K-at-60fps capture mode. Tom’s Hardware found the $199.99 webcam’s dual beam-forming mics unusually clear and full for an integrated...
