The Windows 10 update went fine expect when I open start menu my all programs are opened. Please tell me there's a way to minimize them..

I was wondering what if any customization's can be made to the start screen. I know about pin/unpin and larger/smaller but out of curiosity has anyone found ways to update the background image, or maybe add shortcuts that don't appear in the actual "All Programs" listing...
Here is a quick, easy way to have ALL APPS in a Desktop window; no flipping screens from Desktop. List s ALL APPS, even if not being displayed on Start.
Result is a Desktop icon, tagged explorer.exe

I've accumulated quite a list of software in the START->ALL PROGRAMS selection. I would really like to group them all into four or five folders, and not have to look at so much.
Will W-7 allow this, and how can I do it?

It appears in All Programs and is populated.
