When it comes to gaming on Windows 11, distractions can easily derail your experience. One of the common annoyances that gamers encounter is inadvertently pressing the Alt+Tab keys, which takes you out of the game and into another application. If you've ever had your gaming momentum disrupted by...
For anyone that doesn't know Windows 10 should automatically run fullscreen games in a borderless windowed mode for faster ALT+TABing which they call Fullscreen Optimizations, but for some reason I've noticed that Windows has stopped running any of my games in this mode. I've tried Googling a...

Out of the blue, something just occurred to me... I remember a while back there was a lot being said about a loss of AeroGlass.
Well, fair enough, windows won't 'float' on the screen & whirl around like a rolodex BUT,
You can, still, do Alt+Tab
And both the Charms Bar and the Taskbar are...
My brother said his computer was lagging to he shut off his computer, and when he turned it back on, nothing would load; I turned the computer on and it logs into the user but none of the tiles will load. It takes me straight to a black screen with a bar at the bottom, and after about 45 seconds...

Hi everybody ::- ).
One thing which has me perpetually angry at the ALT+TAB application selection window in Windows 7, is that after a time (about 1 second) it hides the window I triggered it from, replacing it with the window of the currently selected application.
So let's say I'm typing...

I’m sure you are familiar with the Windows 7 task switcher, which has been around since Windows XP. To access it you simply press Alt+Tab and use them to cycle through programs that our currently open. Then in Windows Vista we saw an additional feature which is essentially the same thing but it...

Hello, I hope you are doing well.
By default, when I use ALT+TAB to go between windows, if I pause on another icon for about a second, the other window becomes the active one (so that I can preview what's on that window). Is there a way to disable this?
Thanks,
Vic
There are several ways to show desktop:
Using Flip3D
Alt+Tab
Click on lower right corner
Wind+D
On all of them, if the Contact list windows of Windows Live Messenger is open, then all windows are minimized except the messenger one.
Does this happen to anyone else? or is just me?
