    Windows 7 Ok So what exactly does upgrading do?

    I want to upgrade from my current build to 7057, will this wipe the files/programs I've installed, or does it just install over this build keeps all that stuff?

    Windows 7 Seperate User Parition?

    I love the idea that in Linux, I can simply reinstall my operating system without having to back up my files, because of a seperate /home partition. Is there something like this in 7? Where I can specify where I want to put my \Users at? If not, I realize I can just plop all of my files on...

    Windows 7 2 folder question

    In my C:, I have 2 folders. One is called windows and the other is windows.old. Is this normal? Do I need to keep the .old one? Please let me know. I am hoping a few different people can answer me. thx
