I have 2 drives in my computer
1 is windows 7
2 is debian linux
I have WIN7 drive set as slave and Linux drive set as master.
But when i try to boot, it boots right to windows.
When i disable/unplug the WIN7drive it just gives me a black screen and a white line.

There is no such thing as an entirely secure browser. Let's be realistic: You will always need a good portion of common sense and Internet smarts to avoid nasty attacks hijacks.

Does anyone on here have any experience with getting SAP B1 working in Linux? It requires ZenApp or a similar client. To install this in Linux requires that you first install OpenMotif, a Unix utility. I'm using Ubuntu 10.10. I've found OpenMotif, but haven't had any success in installing it...

Okay...I've seen several tutorials/info on dual booting, but usually it's only one hard drive. What I want to do is install 2 OS on 2 different HDDs.

It is much more flexible.
The version I originally began using was Clonezilla-live1.2.3-27.
Because most live programs work...

Hi Folks, Cybermoron posted a thread on creating a nifty shutdown button on the Win 7
desktop to make shutdown\restart easier.
I posted that I use a similar method to shutdown\restart my Ubuntu installs using a simple
python script.
He suggested I share that here in the Linux section so here...

Hello. My network consists of a Windows 7 PC, A debian mythtv box, a Macintosh G4 10.3.9 and a Windows XP SP3 laptop. I like this combination (the laptop is a Via based unit which came with Vista but turned out to be way too slow, so I *upgraded* it to XP which runs - and has always run -...

Hi All
I recently installed Windows 7 which promptly took over the boot process and gave a rather curt name for my earlier Windows XP Pro SP3 installation as in "earlier version of Windows" or something. Then I installed Debian 5 which insisted writing GRUB to MBR and all hell broke loose...
