    Windows 10 Fully turn off display on 0 brightness.

    Before reinstalling windows, my laptop's monitor would turnoff whenever I set the brightness to 0. Now with a clean install of windows, 0 brightness is just very dim. I would like to know if there is a way to get this feature back, as it was very useful. Any help would be appreciated.

    Windows 7 Problem with the brightness of the screen--reverse dimming???

    I'm having a problem with my screen brightness setting. I'm currently using a (very old) dell latitude e6400 with Windows 7 while my normal laptop is being repaired.     I dimmed my screen as much as possible. however, its still too bright for me. is there a way/program to dim it even more? help would be appreciated!
