I have Power ISO installed, so if I mount the Windows 10 ISO as a virtual disc, can I just install it like that, rather then using a real disc? I know it will not work if I'm formatting and doing a clean install but I am just upgrading from Windows 7.
Hi Guys,

I don't know where to go to get a windows 7 instal disk, at least without paying an absurd amount. I contacted microsoft and they told me because it was beyond the warranty it would cost over $32 after a shipping of ~$5. Please someone help. I don't want to spend 1/3 the cost of an entire...
I don't have any experience with UEIF machines. My nephew is autistic and learning disabled and I got him a new HP Windows 7 PC and it is UEIF. I've been setting it up for him. I made the repair disk and figured out how to boot from it but it says disk error or not a system disc. I burned an ISO...

Hi
I've been looking at various backup and recovery programs.
I just downloaded and installed EaseUS TODO backup software.
The interface is very simple and easy to understand, unlike several others that I've tried.
I already created a recovery disk using the tool that is part of the program...
After reformatting and reinstalling W7 Pro and getting it all set-up and updated i am going to do an image ( with one of the tools on UBCD).

I recently did an update of my machine from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. The update process did not show any errors or warnings and by the time it finished I was under the impression that everything went smooth.
After the update I was testing the environment and discovered that one of my desktop...
Hi
I have our friends computer all set up and ready to go.
One of the things that came about during this process is, I learned that you can make a real disk image in Windows 8 without using a third party software program.
Something I didn't think was possible, and you don't have to jump...

Hi
That's my question, I'd like to make a disk image of the computer I just finished setting up.
I'd like to make a set of DVDs that would let you put in disk one and restore the whole drive from the set.
Anyone know if you can you do that with Paragon Backup & Recovery?
I save my backup on a...

I tried to create a disk image using the Windows 7 feature. The creation failed with a message that chkdsk /r should be run on the source and destination HDs. Destination HD was error free. Source HD had bad clusters replaced in five files.

I had mt boot drive fail and replaced it with a drive of the same size, tried to use the disk image I created 2 months ago to recover my boot drive with and all I get is an error telling me there are no drives that it can use (not the exact msg.) to restore to. so it seems to be a useless...
After trying every solution I can think of to boot my daughter's laptop, I've made my decision. I'm going to create a fresh install on a new, larger 640 gig drive. If that goes well, I told her that I would save what files I could from the corrupted drive. (I'll cross that bridge with her...
