    Windows 10 Random restarts

    OK so a few weeks ago my PC screen would go off and the oc would reboot. There is no rhyme or reason to it. I am not watching videos or doing anything that would cause it to crash. I am getting an event error 10016 The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation...

    Windows 7 What caused DistributedCOM Error

    Event Viewer is reporting Error 10016 - application specific permission not granted to user S-1-5-18. I am logged on as an Administrator not a User. Why does EV think permission needs to be granted to a user not on the machine? S-1-5-18 is a generic SSID for a User? :confused: KC
