file menu
About this tag
The file menu is a standard interface element in Windows applications, providing access to common commands like save, save as, close, and print. Users on WindowsForum.com discuss issues with the file menu in various programs, such as Windows Live Mail lacking a print option in the file menu for drafts, and VLC Media Player not displaying recently used files under the file menu. Additionally, users seek help with scripting a file open menu in Windows 7 and troubleshooting the visibility of the classic file menu bar (File-Edit-View-Tools-Help) in Control Panel. These discussions highlight user expectations for consistent file menu functionality across Windows software.
If I create and save an email to draft folder then let me print it via file pulldown please.
I know you can use view -> reading pane and print from there, but for file pulldown to just show "save, save as, and close" but not print is silly.
Simple change but would help improve user experience.

As you can see, the little black arrow is there but no matter how many times I click it I can't see the recently used files.

The same thing affects the taskbar menu (or whatever you call it), only these two options are available...
