Apparently, Microsoft is purposefully excluding the "Stereo Mix" / "Record What you hear" / "Waveout mix" feature in its W7 drivers.
I'm also not alone in this - there are hundreds of threads just like this on the internet.
I've got a problem with my W7 Home....I can listen to music just fine...

Hello I notice a irritating lag in the mic input, especially when I plug in my electric guitar's amp into the mic in. There is a delay for about 1 sec. No such delay on Vista or XP. Any ideas? This is the only thing that prevents me from going to W7:eek:
