    Windows 7 Can I hide a specific filetype from being displayed in Explorer?

    Can I hide a specific filetype from being displayed in Explorer? For instance, I have an application that makes many .ecx files. I need the files, or more specifically the program needs the files, but I don't need to see them. Any ideas?

    Windows 7 Looking for a solution to this problem

    Hello all, I am currently looking for a way to make windows 7 always hide *.sfk, sfl, and .vf.bak files which sony vegas creates everytime you save a video file. When you do a bunch of video editing and audio mixing it puts these files in the same folder as my renders Its very annoying...

    Windows Vista Hide Files

    I need to hide movies and pictures from my wife on my Vista Home premium (I'm sure you can guess what files). When I put them as hidden they still pop up on the search menue is there a way to make them totally hidden like on XP?
