Is there any way at all to speed up the desktop version of IE11? The other one on the start up menu works fine. But, IE11 desktop is slow on many web sites and sometimes the mouse works and sometimes I have to use the up or down arrow keys. And sometime changing web pages is just plain not...

Have upgraded to 8.1. Now when I navigate to Google in IE11 and enter a search, the results are displayed in single words all down the left hand side of the screen, like so:
Anyone got any clues? Cos I haven't!
I have been using Windows 8.1 ever since it became available. I am running it on a VM w/ 2GB RAM assigned.
There are, certainly, (new) things in 8.1 which, people will like. Personally, I, still use 8.1 the same way I use Windows 8; i.e. still use an Applications windows @ the Taskbar...
Windows 8.1 on a VM w/ just 2Gigs Ram is faster, snappier & sites in IE11 loading quicker than the Windows 8 host machine and IE10.
Have, certainly, read heaps about 8.1 suggesting this sort of behavior can be expected
Just might be the case, too...
Cheers,
Drew
