    Windows 10 Understanding Automatic Windows Updates: Where to Find Installed Updates and Their Status

    Are these downloaded without user intervention? I looked in the control panel/security section and I don't see anything about them. My desktop win7 got a few yesterday but I didn't get any on w10. Is there a list of installed updates that one can see? Another mystery...not worried, just wondering.

    Windows 10 Discrepancy Between Installed Updates and Update History in Windows 10 TP

    This scenario happens in other OSs as well, but my question is on Win 10 TP. Why KB3016656 appears in Programs and Features > View installed updates, but not in Windows Update > View update history ? I have Build 9879 Enterprise clean installed with ISO. No left-overs from previous builds.

    Windows 8 Curious : Only 8/12 updates shown on my View Installed Updates window.

    After installing Ag. 12th updates, my View Installed Updates window shows only Aug 12th items. All the previous updates are gone. Is that normal ? Correction I should say...... " my view update history shows only Aug 12th items."
