I am at my wits end with this. I have had my Asus laptop for almost a year with no problems with the OS. After weeks in hospital finally got home and turned on the laptop. Now I am getting repeated error messages saying my OS is not genuine. ANY advice or thoughts are much appreciated.

Here's my problem. I downloaded Windows 7 from a special college deal for $30 I upgraded from vista, but it screwed up my computer. I would get blue screens at random times while I was using it. I decided to clean install instead, but then I realized the stupid file they gave me only works for...

If you have a laptop and are considering adopting a "Windows 7 OS" right now. It might be more prudent to hold off. Windows 7 has been labeled the biggest blood sucker of Lithium Batteries than any other "OS" that proceeded it.

This has been going on since I downloaded the OS. Everything works fine, except when I want to "Save Image As" to save an image to my computer, or upload a picture, for say, an avatar. When I try, my computer shows that it's going through the process, but then it stops and doesn't do anything...
I'm running windows 7 64-bit on a dell xps 13. Almost everything is great, and I'm impressed with the OS as a whole. My only grudge is that whenever I try to play a movie on youtube, firefox stops responding, and has to be closed. This happens in both IE and firefox. Are there any...
