How on earth do I prevent my startup desktop icons from moving on each reboot? The icons all stay in the same area of the screen but randomly change positions. I have tried several things as suggested by a google search but non seem to work. Is there a definitive fix to stop this behaviour?
I have upgraded an HP Laptop to Windows 10. I have noticed that when I open windows the position is not the same as when I closed the window. Sometimes it is close. Eg with FF pushes the top up if any part of the bottom frame is below the taskbar. Windows Edge, the newly opened window appears to...

Can i move the Start Button a bit more down ?
I don't wanna use StarDock or whatever, just wanna move the Start button a bit down.
Is there any tricks to do that ?
Thanks

Does anyone know how to stop this as I would like to keep the position of them but...
