About this tag
Power Automate on WindowsForum.com covers Microsoft's automation platform across cloud flows, desktop RPA, and governance. Discussions examine how Power Automate executes configured trigger-and-action sequences under defined identities and connector policies, distinct from AI tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot that propose and summarize. Recent threads detail the GA of the Power Apps Data Grid, flow authoring in GitHub Copilot CLI and Claude Code, and the cancellation of Purview Communication Compliance integration for GCC High and DoD tenants. Administrators also explore replacing retiring SharePoint Online Alerts with Rules or Power Automate flows, and using Purview DLP actions to start custom workflows. The tag emphasizes practical deployment, licensing distinctions, and migration planning for enterprise IT.
