    Windows 7 CD Drive Disappearing

    I have had Windows 7 installed for about a month now. However, my CDRom keeps disappearing almost as if the computer thinks its a removable device. That being said I found a 'solution' to edit the registry but the fix did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lang
