I just installed a Linux distro based on Ubuntu 9.04.
It is very user friendly. I don't like the Start Menu, but that's easily changed by choosing the Gnome Desktop.
I used a program called [URL=http://unetbootin.sourceforge.netUnbooten[/URL] to install on my flash drive.
You need to check...
bios settings
boot configuration
flash drive
gnome desktop
installation
iso file
linux distro
linux versions
mint linux
open source
operating systems
removablemedia
software installation
ubuntu
unetbootin
usb boot
user friendly
Am running build 7077 and when I plug in a removable drive it gets recognised fine. Problem is when one tries to "eject" the drive it will claim that it can't because "some program" is still using it.
When MS checks for whether the EJECT can happen it obviously must know "what program" is...
