I'm working on upgrading a Dell Latitude D830 from Vista Ultimate (32-bit) to Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit) retail. I opted to do an upgrade instead of a clean install for the sake of time.
The system has 2 network adapters installed, a Dell 1390 WLAN mini-PCI adapter and a Broadcom NetLink 57xx...

Hello,
I run Windows 7 for at least 4 weeks and I never had problems with it, so I decided to remove the now unneeded XP Partition.
My Problem is that after this Windows 7 refused to boot.
I suppose that either the Windows Bootmanager was on the XP Partition I removed.
My Partition Table...

To start, I'd love to post more detailed system specs, but I cant even get into the OS.
I had a Dell Workstation 380 with 7, sporting an extra (NOT the one with the OS) 750GB HD that failed. I deemed the case unworthy and built what is essentially a new rig.

I have the 64-bit RC dual booting on my PC along with XP Pro SP3.
Win7 has worked great for a few weeks now, but today a big issue cropped up.
I was working on a CAD file (I'm a Civil Designer), when my PC spontaneously rebooted, as though I have pressed the reset key. There was no error...

I installed Adobe Reader 9 but the browser plug-in will not work with IE8 or Opera 10 Alpha. Since the problem occurs in both browsers, there must be some incompatibility with the Adobe Reader 9 browser plug-in and Windows 7 Beta. I did try a repair install of Adobe Reader 9, but that made no...
Here is something peculiar that happened. I bought Vista home premium OEM from Newegg just after it came out. I installed and activated it. I used Vista for about 4 months then got tired of it and went back to using XP most of the time.
Recently, I built a new computer (different CPU and MB)...
