Intel’s new Fab 52 in Chandler, Arizona, is not just another factory — it’s the physical embodiment of a high-stakes bet that the United States can reassert leadership in advanced semiconductor manufacturing, and that Intel can reclaim technological momentum by making the planet’s most advanced...
Intel's forthcoming Intel Supplier Summit on June 11 is poised to be a pivotal event, as the company aims to address recent scrutiny over delays in its advanced process nodes and yield challenges. This summit is expected to serve as a platform for Intel to reinforce its transformation efforts...
Hello,
Is there any way to disable the giant and unnecessary "ribbon" (I think it's called that at least) in windows 11? In win 10 there is a little arrow to the top right which you can minimize it with, and there are also tools that let you disable it completely, but I can't find anything at...
I sent a photo to Drive from my phone to the pc and downloaded it, but when I open it it always has the programs ribbons etc around it. How can I just get a clear photo?
I am not having any luck cropping out the ribbons etc.
Suddenly every application I open has huge menus, ribbons and title bars.
Yes, I've checked my display settings. Yes, I've rebooted. Yes, I've checked my control panel display settings for any changes (I didn't make any and nobody else uses this laptop). No, I haven't installed anything...
Just was wondering if people realise that if you set the cursor on the Ribbon in a File Explorer window and use the scroll wheel one can cycle through the Ribbon tabs.
This, of course, holds true in Windows 8.1, as well.
Cheers,
Drew

Hi, as the title says I didn't have this line before but my little nephew has done something wrong while he used File Explorer so it looks to me really irritated and I need some help to get rid of it!
Some folks grumble about the Ribbon (technology) & having (to put up w/) it in Explorer windows. So, I thought, I'd just mention that it can be collapsed via the wee arrow @ the top-right corner. Open it when wanted & or just use the remaining tabs. I'm not sure all the available functions...

In W8 Windows Explorer windows to have a larger viewing area, the Ribbon can be collapsed if & when or while not needed... & just 'reopened' as needed or wanted. The Ribbon can be but, does not need to be kept showing all the time. This change can be affect via...
Place your mouse cursor anywhere in the Ribbon and then use the Scroll Wheel. It will scroll from File to Home to Share to View.
This way, you won't have to click on the Tab you want.
Came across this by accident.
Also works in the Windows Live Mail Ribbon, eh, probably works on any & all...

I can't seem to get in the Windows 8 section of the Forum but, what the heck, may as well put this somewhere... Must say that the Ribbon & File functionality & offerings in the Windows 8 Explorer Windows is an absolute joy. Things are so clear, in-your-face, easy to understand &...
This will let you disable Metro ONLY or not. Disabling other things, as well or not, is an option. Nice to (still) keep or have Ribbon & Task Mgr & more.
