KezNews forum, 10.7.2009
Initially, we reported that the RTM build was going to be officially signed off and announced on July 13th. At the time, Windows 7 was proceeding on schedule and several internal sources in Microsoft both close to us and...

Fed up with Internet Explorer??? You can get the European Build from you know who (notice the 7.E.BUILD??)
MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.E.BUILD.7264.WIN7_RTM.X64.ENGLISH.DVD-VINYLZINE
6.1.7268.0.win7_rtm.090701-1900 - NEW candidate in RTM branch build.
Posted by you know who..... (at one point this was listed as a bogus build but the numbers caught up with it)
Just speculation, but with 7264 we now have a "new animal" that will not accept RC keys. COULD IT BE that the keys it will accept are those for RTM? If so, upgrading from 7260 (and previous RC builds) could verify that RC can upgrade to RTM. My 7260 upgraded fine to 7264 although I had the...
Back in May of this year, I posed the following question in this thread...
When MS finally release Windows7 RTM...
....I would dearly love them to offer the OS for Home use to be licensed to 3 machines from one Disk; it would probably be the best way of encouraging the uptake to Win7, given...
So the RTM soon will be signed off for windows 7. But what will the build number be. Will it stay at whatever is chosen so like 726x or will it go up. As i heard lots of people saying that the build decieded for the RTM will go to 7300 or 7500. Is this true?
I know that you cannot upgrade from the RC to the RTM and you have to do a clean install (unless you edit the .iso) and I am willing to do a clean install and reinstall all of my programs. My question is that since Microsoft is releasing both upgrade (Link Removed) and full versions (Link...

Check out http://windows7news.com/2009/04/27/upgrading-from-windows-7-rc-to-final/ for a fairly logical and believable answer to the question of upgrading from RC to RTM.

I stared using the beta version (7000) of Windows 7 in January, and used it until de RC came out.
My impression is that the beta was better.
When I saw how good W7 beta was I started hoping that Microsoft would´t ruin it in following releases, but it seems that´s what´s happening...

Hey all,
As I look through the boards I'm noticing alot (too many) of new threads that ultimately are all talking about the exact same things.. These things include: RTM release date, GA release date, RC Expiration, etc..
I just wanted to take a minute and try to sort some of these things...
