    Windows 7 New games not running

    I purchased new programs (games) the other day and they worked fine until today. When I start them up, I get an "Assertion Failure" or the screen blinks and then nothing happens. I have only one game that starts and plays (and older one), but none of the new ones will. Any ideas?:confused...
