    I recently visited a website where I was searching for a specific book title and I found it odd that when I keyed in the first letter of the title a list of past search words appeared in the list such as names, places, foods etc. In fact, this has happened a few times when I've done searches...

    Windows 11 Remove File Explorer's path history?

    I think it may have been called WordWheelQuery in Windows 7. I skipped 8 and 10 so I don't know if it changed. I've managed to disable search history in WIndows 11. But I'd like to also disable the folder path history as well. Is there a way? Anyone know the regedit entries I need to edit?

    Windows 10 powerful search engine, bad interface. version 1903.

    A little publicized but very important feature of the 1903 update is the new file explorer search engine. I mean the one that searches not only names, but file contents. The new one is very fast, (the old one was incredibly slow) and supports 'quotation mark' searches, which return the files...
