    Windows 7 Email SMTP Server Connection and Attachments

    When trying to send an email (in Outlook or Thunderbird) that has an attachment of greater than 100Kb i get an error message saying "cannot connect to SMTP server....." Any email without an attachment is fine. Thank you

    Windows 7 NO SMTP Access Win 7 RTM

    Can receive mails but cannot send (tried Live mail,Thunderbird,Outlook) Have exactly the same settings on a Vista computer (same modem) which work fine. Have also reinstalled Win 7. Disabling NOD32 or Zonealarm does not help..

    Windows 7 Finding SMTP Server Options for PHP Email on Windows 7

    With IIS on Windows XP I could send emails from PHP using my local smtp server. However I cannot seem to find where the smtp server is in Windows 7. I read somewhere that Vista doesn't come with the smtp server, is this the case for Windows 7 and if so can anyone recomend an alternative.
