When trying to send an email (in Outlook or Thunderbird) that has an attachment of greater than 100Kb i get an error message saying "cannot connect to SMTP server....."
Any email without an attachment is fine.

Have exactly the same settings on a Vista computer (same modem) which work fine.
Have also reinstalled Win 7.
Disabling NOD32 or Zonealarm does not help..
With IIS on Windows XP I could send emails from PHP using my local smtp server. However I cannot seem to find where the smtp server is in Windows 7.
I read somewhere that Vista doesn't come with the smtp server, is this the case for Windows 7 and if so can anyone recomend an alternative.
