I have a windows 7 computer with a stylus pen and I often use the pen like I would use a piece of scratch paper (sometimes with someone looking on). I've been using "paint.exe" - a program created around the time of the dinosaurs, but it still works. As simple as this program is, it still has 3...
So there is a photo STICKY on the START UP SCREEN. I put a few pics in the photos folder and they scroll on the desktop.
#1. Is there a way to select <or better yet, DESELECT> the photos that appear in the SCROLL ... and
#2. Is there a photo editor in WIN8 at all? I've looked and tried to...

For the past few days when turning on my computer, Sticky Notes automatically opens on startup. It happens within the first two minutes. I have a program called Soluto that I use to turn on or turn off startup programs but it doesn't list sticky notes. I also deleted a registry entry for...
You know it's a drag one hesitates when it's to say something good. Seems hard to do w/ such worthy contributions as "fanboy" & "evangelist", as if curse words or slander, maligning, not worthy by motivation to be given credence, scoffed @ cus of presumed MS driven bias, but, anyway, lol

Here, just tossing this out, for no more reason than just for shits n giggles.
I revamped, tidied, the Taskbar, just mucking about; normally, it Auto-hides. And, this is w/out (any) Gadgets or Sticky Notes showing. Picture is arbitrary. I may leave it like this, try it out, for a while...

Hello, well - it's all in the subject line; how do I back up the data on the notes? I know that StikyNot.exe resides in the Windows\System32 folder, but the data?
Thank you.

Poor old Microsoft, damned of they do and damned if they don’t. With US or EU competition regulators ever ready to pounce on them if they add a new feature that somebody claims is anti-competitive. The Sticky Notes feature in Windows 7 offers only minimal functionality, and there’s a far better...
I love sticky notes but am having a problem.
2 days ago the exe file just disappeared. I downloaded it and reinstalled it. Early today I quite being able to cut from one note to another. Now I can no longer get notes to close. I've reinstalled and rebooted with no success.

I'd like to include sticky notes into the shell so i can right click and create a new note on the desktop. Is there a way to customize this? I have considered saving a icon to my task bar but i want to keep it minimalistic. Thank you.
The trouble I am having is with programs not opening to the desktop. For instance if I make a sticky note it will disappear from the desktop. The icon for the sticky note is on the task bar and when I hover over it a mini page displays but when I click on the mini page it doesn't appear on...
