    Downloading Software - potential risk ?

    Just a quick question for all you techies out there. I have always in the past downloaded software to my hard disk and then run them from there. I then end up with scattered directories of various types with all sorts of stuff that in 6 months time... due to obscure file names I have no idea...

    Windows 7 Windows 7 - Solutions for boot problems.

    for all thoes people who are experiencing this problem, i have a few tips that worked for me. Solving Windows freeze on startup....(this can happen when even booting from the startup disk, it has nothing to do with any drivers or software related issues) If you have sprung upon this problem...

    Windows Vista When and How Often Should You Update Your PC's BIOS?

    Question: when and how often should one update/upgrade one's bios on there PC? Even if that PC is not having any problems. I am a firm believer in "if it's not broke don't fix it" saying but would like some sort of answer to this question.

    Windows 7 How much RAM do you 'actually' need?

    Now that RAM is as cheap as chips it's not uncommon to see those with far too much money to be sporting large amounts of RAM.. Is all this RAM actually needed though and does it get used? Toms Hardware decided to find out... Link Removed
