    Windows 7 Is the 7600 build the release candidate?

    i'm having numbers confused. why cna't they just say "build 1" "build 2"..... damn, how do you jump from 0 to 7600 just like that?

    Windows 7 Upgrading RC to RTM -- Has M$ Authorized It?

    Just speculation, but with 7264 we now have a "new animal" that will not accept RC keys. COULD IT BE that the keys it will accept are those for RTM? If so, upgrading from 7260 (and previous RC builds) could verify that RC can upgrade to RTM. My 7260 upgraded fine to 7264 although I had the...

    Windows 7 Windows 7 is it really the 7th version?

    Is windows 7 really version 7.0? If one opens a command prompt window one sees that it says it is windows version 6.1. Last time i checked 6.1 is not version 7.... So it would seem that MS is only using the name "7" like how they used the name "XP" or "Vista". I think this is to decieve people...
