I just noticed a price increase on HP #62 Blk XL ink cartridge from $35.00 and change to $37.99. That was outragious
before the increase. Does anyone have a solution for a cheaper way to make copies? I used to be able to refill the
cartridges but it seems that the refills are not available anymore.

If you want cheaper copies and are willing to make an initial outlay look at Epson. Not cartridges but tanks. Two years of printing on average.
Cartridges are always more expensive then tanks. The downside is the initial investment but the cost will be worth it in the long run

Thanks,
What you suggest is what I will go for. The cost for cartridge ink is way out of line.
