There's no need for Universe to have an edge. It's like the questions of time and gravity: time has been considered to be a flaw caused by gravity, and since God - may offend someone - is a Spirit, not affected by gravity, He lives in "No time". Thus, our entire conception can be wrong, based on material, while we still live with horse and cow manure... are we really that far from the medieval concept of a mechanical Universe? And if, is it a step forward or backward? An "Edge" could be a misconception? As well as an ever expanding Universe could be, there are claims that the Speed of Light is diminishing meaning, Space doesn't expand, it looks that way since lower light speed means longer times for light to travel.

The enclosed is quite interesting, produced by a group who have experienced and tried. You need to turn it clockwise --- couldn't get it straight. Heh. With courtesy to SCP, haven't asked permission to publish further - but please, don't shoot the messenger!
