We were very pleased to see our Plustek Opticfilm 7500AI jump through all the hoops of installation into Windows 7 Pro 64 bit environment. Problem is that our Photoshop CS2 is installed in the Virtual Machine > XP Mode.

So what could be simpler? We just had to install the scanner again inside the XP Mode. It didn't turn out to be that EZ. After installing the drivers we turned on Photoshop > Import > PlustekScanner and up comes "Hardware was not found". Checked device manager in XP Control Panel and, under "Other devices" there were three virtual drivers [not named] that had big yellow Question Marks.

We called PlusTek support and he recommended we "Update Driver" which we had on a USB stick. That didn't work either. We uninstalled all three "?Virtual Drivers" and restarted the Virtual Machine. When we checked Device Manager all three had come back. So we can't seem to install the scanner on the XP side.

Any ideas on how to do this?
